This course will provide students with an understanding of the basic principles and concept of toxicology. Students will be able to relate to acute poisoning, toxicities of drugs, noxious industrial chemicals, household and agricultural products, drugs of abuse and environmental toxicology to relative mechanisms.  

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

 This course will include practical management principles and a review of current poison information systems and their clinical use. It provides an overview of basic concepts in clinical toxicology, including the diagnosis and treatment of common poisonings
