COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Business ethics is the moral analysis of business activities and practices. In this course, students
will consider business actions and decisions in the light of moral principles and values, and have
an opportunity to ask themselves whether ethical motives and practices in business organizations
would make them more proficient and successful. Further, there will be an examination of issues
and conflicts that typically arise in business that have moral aspects to them, such as the way
employers treat their employees, employees their employers, and the ways businesses treat their
competitors, their customers, and society, and even the environment.
