
This course provides an introduction to research methodology. It examines different principal approaches, including qualitative and quantitative methods, comparative case study approaches, and alternative research models/theories. The students learn research techniques and apply them to prepare a research proposal and implement a research project. These techniques include considerations for research ethics, literature review, data collection, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation, and the development of recommendations.
