SPT 292: Intermediate Spreadsheet Processing Techniques
This course gives students the fundamental knowledge and abilities needed to
handle and manipulate spreadsheets at an intermediate level with efficiency.
Students will gain knowledge on how to choose relevant data, make and modify
spreadsheets, visually portray data, and prepare spreadsheets for printing
throughout the course of 60 credit hours. Using functions (such as minimum,
maximum, count, and IF statements), managing big spreadsheets, making charts,
and modifying page settings are important topics. Through lectures and labs,
the course places a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on education. Exams
make up 60% of the assessment, and coursework makes up 40%.
This course prepares students for a variety of corporate and administrative
responsibilities by giving them the technical understanding and real-world
skills needed to manage spreadsheet chores efficiently.
