Marketing and Communication can be defined as a combination of all the promotional instruments, marketing channels/ platforms, messages, and media opportunities that marketers use to communicate with their target customers. It is an introductory course, which offers sound knowledge of theoretical, practical and operational marketing concepts. This course will expose students to the fundamental principles of marketing and its strategic role in the achievement of business objectives for both profit and non-profit organizations. It will also highlight the importance of effective communication and communication methods as it relates to marketing. This course will also examine areas such as the marketing mix, the marketing strategy planning, and marketing segmentation.
