This course attempts to familiarize students with the framework within which financial accounting takes place, highlighting the diverse users and their need for accounting information. It also includes the conceptual framework of accounting, elements of financial statements, accounting principles, concepts and conventions ; recording financial information, accounting and administrative control systems designed to provide students with in depth knowledge of internal control systems and related benefits.
