On completion of this module students should be able to: 

  1. Give, in correct speech, information relating to themselves, family and surroundings; 

  1. Elicit information about people, places and activities related to the home, family and school; 

  1. Listen for specific information and understand the essential information relating to home, family and school; 

  1. Recognise and understand the meaning of cultural symbols, simple advertisements, posters and signs about life; 

  1. Fill out forms and questionnaires; 

  1. Write brief descriptions of people, places an activities related to the home and daily life; 

  1. Write simple messages related to home and daily life.
